Spoiled at the Four Seasons Miami

I’m not usually one to gush over impeccable design, but I really have to commend the Four Seasons Miami Residences. Not to long ago, a friend of mine asked if I’d mind watching his flat there. So, I traded the Boston humidity for a Miami tropical storm this past weekend. Making the best of the bad weather, I forced myself to stay in and just rough it. Roughing it in a 3-bedroom corner unit with floor to ceilings windows that played the storm out like a high definition national geographic show on steroids.

During what I’ll call intermission from the show, I really began to notice the level of superb craftsmanship. From the panoramic views in every room, the state-of-the-art Lurton system, elongated gallery with cove ceiling, Italian and German marble finishes, Swarovski chandeliers, oversized snaidero kitchen, miele appliances, onyx bar with temperature-controlled 20 case wine cellar, ahh yes. Need I say more? Roughing it with fully stocked wine cellar. So come yesterday when it was time to leave, I must admit I didn’t want to. Alas… I’m back in beantown.
