Headquartered in Manhattan’s NoHo neighborhood in an impeccably designed boutique located at 9 Bond Street, Bond No. 9 is a brand of fine fragrances and candles that pays homage to New York City and all of its unique neighborhoods. Bond No. 9 divides its delightful scents into six categories: Uptown, Midtown, Downtown, New York Beaches, I Heart NY and Harrods. Each bottle looks like a little piece of artwork. There are even several scents inspired and named after Andy Warhol. According to Bond No.9’s founder, Laurice Rahme, when asked what inspires the various fragrances, “The city is endlessly renewing itself to keep up with our dynamic New York neighborhoods that change every other year. It is that spirit of that specific neighborhood we work on with passion to capture.”
With so many scents to choose from for men and women, there is a Bond No. 9 fragrance for everyone. 2012 welcomed four brand new scents: Central Park West by Bond No. 9, Sag Harbor by Bond No. 9, Bond No. 9 Manhattan, and Bond No. 9 New York Musk. The Bond No. 9 brand isn’t just personal fragrance though. They also have a luxurious line of candles that smell as incredible as they look. At around $100 per candle, they aren’t inexpensive, but they ARE love at first smell. Simply lighting a Bond No. 9 candle feels like an elegant affair with your olfactory senses.
Bond No. 9 fragrances and candles can be found in New York City where there are currently five boutiques and at the following fine international retailers: Saks Fifth Avenue (USA), Harrods (United Kingdom), Paris Gallery (Dubai), TSUM (Russia), The Bay (Vancouver, Montreal, Sherway, Queen Street, Yorkdale) and Isetan (Japan).
